I just purchased the HA EA and I have a question. According to the documentation, the EA will open trades on the 1st, 2nd or 3rd candles. Okay, that’s fine. But, there are also several filters. Say for example I am using the MA filter. I’m assuming that the filter would work top and bottom, meaning, if the price is above the MA the EA will open buys, and below the MA for sells. But, what happens in this example scenario: the price is below the MA and the HA colour is already blue, so the first three candles are below the MA. According to the filter rule, there will be no buy order. Fine. But what happens when the price crosses the MA and candle numbers 5-100 are on the positive side of the MA? Will the EA open a buy order when the a new candle closes above the MA? Or will that entire trend, which could last for a very long time and dozens of candles, be lost?
