Hi there,
I recently bought the Ichimoku EA Pro and started trading it after testing it. Everything works as it should however I am facing one slight issue and was wondering if it was an issue with my settings or a known issue in the EA. The issue is that even though I have checked the trade on new bar as true, most of the time when an existing trade is closed due to stop loss the new trade is almost instantly opened. Kindly do let me know what needs to be checked/unchecked to ensure that a new trade is only opened when a new candle starts. I am trading on a one hour time frame.
PS: Other than the screenshot attached the only other setting set to true is price above/below cloud for entry.

i think mine does that too. i wish there was a way of spacing out the entries more. i tried ” enter reverse on close” to avoid that big floundering around in no mans land thing it does, but it didnt backtest better. Do you know how to manually close positions? it opens huge ones soon after if I do.

I usually just unclick auto trading in mt4 and then manually close trades and only click auto trading on when the price is in a position where my setting wouldn’t allow it to open a trade right away.

thanks. how you going optimising the ichi? ive been weeks backtesting eur usd m1 m30 and H1.

I’m only using this particular ea on xau usd on H1. As far as backtesting is concerned I try to go for a broad-> narrow approach, so I’ll get the broad sense of the best setting and then narrow down each variable through repetitive testing until I get to a setting I am comfortable with, however as of yet I have stopped using the ea until I can get a definitive answer on the original question of this post.

Bonjour, je suis en train de tester la version gratuite de l’EA Ichimoku, avant d’acheter la version Pro. Et j’ai besoin de quelques éclaircissements. J’ai l’impression que l’EA n’obéit pas aux indications du paramétrage. En pièce jointe, la photo du paramétrage et du graphique Metatrader. Si vous pouviez m’aider je vous en serais reconnaissant.

Dans cet exemple l’EA a lancé un ordre d’achat, alors qu’une vente aurait été plus appropriée.

you should use google translator to translate your post into english. if you are asking this; “why doesnt the EA open any trades?” firstly check that the maximum spread setting in the set file is higher than the difference between the bid and ask when you manually start to open a trade on that pair. secondly i find the entry using “filter only” and the first two filters set to true works better. or strategy “all in uptrend” and filters 1,2, and 7 (current cloud) set to true. set the martingale multiplier lower. like 0.01 or 0.02 if you are using lot size 0.01 or it will add 0.6 to the lot size and go 0.01, 0.61 1.21. also i suggest this: do not accept backtests where the drawdown exceeds 18% even though the profit is high.
