I had sent an email on this issue with the MACD EA some time back and I will repeat my self here .
We you set the MACD PRO EA with standard settings ( Inverse stratagy Flse ) the EA takes a trade in the wrong direction , MACD Line crossing zero from bellow and the EA takes a sell trade . If you inverse the straatgy then it takes the correct trade in the direction but the trend filter and exit stratagy dont work , I spent 6 months and I am sure your EA is not programmed correctly. Unfortunatly I stopped using your EA as you have not provided the source code to correct programing mistakes .

Try changing the TP = 600 And SL = 500 otherwise your trying to set them inside the spread.

I have 5 digits broker and I want to know how I should like 60 Pips
Should it be 600 pips for 5 digits.

Don’t really have a problem, but just want to know that I’m formatting my optimization correctly (MACD EA Pro): It seems to me that the (a) “Reverse on Opposite Signal”, (b) “Exit Strategy” and (c) “MACD Strategy” all have the potential to create a redundancy by virtue of how you use them, and I’m wondering if I need to format my settings accordingly. Here’s what I mean: If you enable (a) “Reverse on Opposite Signal”, set (b) to “Histogram Crosses Zero Line”, and (c) to “MACD Line Crosses Zero” Option, aren’t they all in effect creating the same outcome? Ultimately, I’m simply looking to have an opposite trade position open once the histogram crosses the zero line (from Buy to Sell, and vice verse immediately upon a histogram zero line cross). That should work fine if I:
– Enable “Reverse on Opposite Signal”
– Set “Exit Strategy” to “Histogram Crosses Zero Line”, and
– Set “MACD Strategy” to “MACD Line Crosses Zero” Option

Correct?

Or should I use a different combination of these settings?
